I did not choose to work in mosaics.  Mosaics chose me and will not let go. The fact that the methods we use have changed so little since they were first developed has given me a relationship to history and geography that I had never felt before. I do not know where this art form is taking me, but I am excited to follow.  Along the way, if someone else appreciates what I make, well, that is icing on the cake.
