Bailaora (Flamenco Dancer)

A vivid memory that has stayed with me to this day was the soulful performance of a bailaora (flamenco dancer) in Madrid. Mesmerized, and so taken with the passion she brought to her performance, I took a picture of her expressive face, and it became the inspiration for this piece. Every time I see it, I yearn for more flamenco dance and music. Take me back to this place, ahora mismo!
