Changing World

Inspired by a 1936 painting called “The City” (Virginia Berresford), this piece contrasts the spectacular technology and development that is happening around us (using circuit board components) with the diminishing areas of wild land and wildlife. It also touches on issues related to this development including: pollution, waste production, indigenous peoples’ rights, zoos and species extinctions.
