The tactile, reflective and pixilated surface of mosaics resonates deeply with me. My work is composed of line infused with meaning. I strive for beauty and conceptual meaning in my work. The two works selected for this exhibit are direct opposites of each other: Light vs Dark, Good vs Bad, Metaphysical vs Physical.

Ascension - Have we the capacity to rise above the chaos we create? How will we provide for an ever increasing population? Can we actually ever be at peace? May we rise above our present reality. Turn on the light!

YOU-cifer: Bones of Contention

There have been 5 mass extinctions classified thus far. We are currently in the midst of the 6^th mass extinction; our activities are directly responsible for this situation. All others were natural disasters.

Starting from the outer edge each successive ring represents the chronological order of extinctions until the center of the mosaic- We are looking at ourselves in our own egocentric “world”. We are the most destructive of all species: Yet we continue to deny our culpability in species destruction, global warming, over population and global pandemics. May we make it right.
