YOUcifer: Bones of Contention

This was about my antipathy at what I think of as our careless disregard for how we live on this planet. Species decline is due to our habitat encroachment, shifting weather patterns and other human activites to numerous to mention here. Since we are directly responsible and may ourselves someday cause our own demise I created a carved sugar skull at the center. The mood is dark so that was reflected in my choice of background color. There are five rings around the skull representing the previous 5 mass exctinctions and we are at the center of this one. This is an unsettling work and I hope seeing it makes people consider their consumption and refuse habits. Each one of us can make changes that add up to huge benefits globally.
